COVID Vaccinations & Tests

Dear Students and Families,

I hope you and your families are healthy and enjoying winter break. We are excited to start the Spring semester! Please note that the start of school is now on Tuesday, January 11 for in-person learning.

All students and employees, both vaccinated and unvaccinated, returning for in-person instruction must have a recent negative COVID test result before coming to school on January 11.

COVID-19 testing is available at RFK Community Schools every day this week including Saturday from 8:00am-4:00pm.  Additional testing sites can also be found on the Los Angeles Unified website at achieve.lausd.net/covidtestingappt. Students who have been previously tested at school do not need to come with a parent for testing.

Another option is at home testing kits. They will be distributed at RFK on January 7 and 8 from 8:00am-12pm while supplies last. Tests can be picked up at the Campus Road entrance off of 8th street.  A picture of the results should be taken and brought to school on Jan. 11 for proof of testing.

(Employees cannot use the at-home test; a PCR test result is required before coming on campus).
